How do I connect and use my Bluetooth
headset with my phone?

The phone must be Bluetooth
you are trying to connect must be
Bluetooth capable. As all phones,
will have a slightly different connection
procedures (you can check the individual
phone manual for details on how to
connect the bluetooth devices). However,
they should follow a general connection
procedure as below:
Note:
Before you start using the headset
for the first time, you must pair
the headset with the mobile phone
or device you want to use it with.
Step
1: Make sure the Bluetooth
headset is charged and in Discoverable
mode. To put the Bluetooth headset
in discoverable mode, ensure the Bluetooth
headset is off (when the Bluetooth
headset is off there should be no
lights on the LED of the headset).
Press the rocker button until the
LED flashes red and green (approximately
8 seconds), release the rocker switch
and the LED should still be flashing
red and green. This indicates Bluetooth
headset is in discoverable mode.
Step
2: Once the Bluetooth headset
is in Discoverable Mode, turn to your
phone (make sure the Bluetooth function
on your phone is “ON”)
and go to search for new devices.
Normally, this can be done by accessing
the Bluetooth menu on the phone. The
phone should indicate that it has
found “BTHS” device. This
code will be the STEP headset. Instruct
the phone to connect to the headset.
Step
3: The phone should prompt
for a pairing password. The default
pairing code for STEP headsets is
“0000”. Key in the password
and the Bluetooth headset and the
phone should now be paired.
Step
4: On some phones, the Bluetooth
headset needs to be “connected”
or set as “authorized”.
This will instruct the phone to connect
to the headset when the headset is
on and in the usable range. Then it
will be ready for use.
Step
5: Once you have turn off
the Bluetooth headset or the phone
(or both), you will need to connect
it back once you turn it on again.
To use the headset with the phone,
press the rocker switch once after
turning on the headset. This will
tell the headset to connect with the
phone.

will also hear a beep sound to indicate
you have ended the call)
